Women in Film Talk
Film Historian Sandra Shevey has put together a talk about women in film using off-the-set stills from her exclusive collection.  These very rare insights into Hollywood`s packaging and merchandising of its stars contain shots of many big names of the 1950s in an unique studio setting, ie in makeup; being costumed; getting their hair done.  A good number of the stills show the transformations of these stars from brunette to blonde; fat to thin; low to raised hairline; etc.  A few even show more marked changes in the performers.

Featured are Rosalind Russell, Joan Blondell, Teresa Wright, Janet Blair, Ann Miller, Lucille Ball and others.

The talk lasts for 1 hour and the fee is £500 min depending upon the size of the group.
