Oil

3 cloves garlic
2 teaspoons sugar
1 - 28 - can tomato puree
Sweet basil
1 - 28 - can crushed tomatoes
Oregano
2 - 6 oz. cans tomato paste
water
In a large pot, put enough oil to just cover the bottom. Cook garlic until it turns white. Add canned tomato items. Add spices to taste and water to thin to own preference. Cook for at least 3 hours over low heat – all day is better.
