Oklahoma City Disaster
These are some more pictures that were taken the day
of the Memorial Service. Volunteers from all of the different
agencies showed up for this very important day;
A day of "RESPECT" and "REMEMBRANCE"
As you can see from the last two pictures on this page
humans were not the only ones to volunteer their talents.
These "pets" are very well trained. Their owners took them
around to the hospitals to entertain the "Survivors"
and brought them to the Red Cross Service Centers
to entertain the clients as the clients waited to get
the help that they needed.
The two ladies with the dogs are my supervisors,
Betty Jo Harvey RN and Barbara Farr RN
then there is me, Bertha Desormeaux EMT, and we are all three
American Red Cross Volunteers!!!
