The first picture was taken at a "THANK YOU" barbecue
given by local businesses for all the many Volunteers.
The guy with the yellow shirt in the foreground is a very
good friend, George Parr from Amarillo, Texas. I have
worked with George on a few other disasters.
In the next picture, "Friends" getting together once again.
From left to right they are:
me, Bertha Desormeaux, from Winnie, Texas, BEAUMONT RED CROSS,
Phil Sandifer, from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, OKLAHOMA COUNTY RED CROSS,
Linda Srynsky, Norman, Oklahoma, OKLAHOMA COUNTY RED CROSS
George Parr, Amarillo, Texas, AMARILLO RED CROSS.
The next picture is Chris Stewart, George Parr and me
sitting on the back of a Ryder Rental Truck.
The reason we are smiling is because George was telling us
that while driving the truck to headquarters, people would see the truck
and get clear over in the other lane away from him.
For those that don't know, a yellow Ryder Rental Truck
is the type of truck that was used for the bombing.
And the last picture says how everyone was feeling.
Everyone's "HEART AND PRAYERS", then, now and will always be,
with the "VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS"of the
"OKLAHOMA CITY BOMBING OF THE MURRAH FEDERAL BUILDING"

I have a little story and comments about this disaster if you would
care to read it. I think you will find it interesting.
