Welcome to Jakes Place at Rope the Moon. As you already know, my home is full with The Boys, Nash and Travis yet I decided that there was room for one more. *groan*...enter...Jake....his name was "Stunt Monkey" at the shelter...and that should have been my clue *shaking head*...he was a 6 month old ball of energy! The boys had been older when they came to live here and it had been years since I had a kitten.......to say I was ill-prepared..would be an understatement! Right after I adopted him, he had to stay to be neutered *yes...always neuter or spay your pets!!*..the idea that he would be the perfect addition to my mothers house took hold. Long story short...I convinced her she HAD to have him and the next day off we went...after almost a month I had to go back and "repo" him as he had just far too much energy for her to handle. And that's how Jake came to be part of this household.

I love this picture...what a ham!!

This was the first time Jake jumped from the top of the computer monitor onto the top of the door...imagine his surprise when he found out the door was so narrow and...it MOVED!!!

I've never seen anything like Jake..he's a jumper!! Straight up! He loved jumping up onto the top of the hangers then walking along the length of the closet to investigate! My poor clothes!
