WHEN YOU HAVE A FRIEND

When you have a friend, and you know he cares,
Nothing much annoys-
'Tis pleasant to have someone who shares
Your worries, and your Joys,
'Tis easy to conquer your problems, then,
And let the old world roll-
When you have a friend, and you know he cares,
'Tis easy to reach the goal-

And never a task comes up, but what
You tackle it with vim,
If, somewhere you know there's a friend who cares;
Someone who hopes you'll win-

Someone who hopes for your success
And cheers you on your way-
When you have a friend, and you know he cares,
It shortens the the longest day-

"Friendship true knows no decay"
