This is Bob (my other boss)and Nanook his huskey. In Nanooks younger days he used to pull the sled for fun when they went out riding on the snow machine. They would go out for a winter picnic.


Nanook is getting along in years and doesnt pull the slead any more. But he still enjoys riding in the slead behind the snow machines.

These pictures are taken at the Golden Days parade in Fairbanks. Miss Ricki who plays the part of the grande madame of Golden Days, is getting ready to don her flamboyant fashions for her final season in the role she created, which is part Mae West and part Dolly Parton. She has worked on the Golden Days jail for 20 years and has been the leader of the Golden Heart Dancers since she founded the group in 1985. Their leader bacame Miss Ricki after a tourist saw the Golden Days hoosegow parked outside J.C. Penney's once and made a comment about Miss Kitty of "Gunsmoke" fame.

Well here is a moose. But it isn't Moose hunting season yet.




















But a couple years back Bob did get his moose. They went to meet up with Cory and Jeremy on a hunting trip. Well Bob and Lavonne didn't fine the boys and on their way back to town. A moose crossed the road and Bob started tracking it. An he got it.
