Good news:
1. Gorky's have signed to the Beggar's Banquet label after being dropped by Mercury last year.
2. They have recorded a new album (Spanish Dance Troupe) to be released in September sometime - preceded by a single (also called Spanish Dance Troupe).
Bad News:
1. John Lawrence, the guitarist has left and is pursuing a solo career. A possible replacement could be Rhodri Puw, ex-member of Ffa Coffi Pawb (better known as Gruff and Dafydd SFA's former band).
