Hi!

Thanks for stopping by and getting to know me a little better.  Well my name is Christopher J. McCall and I live in Seneca, South Carolina, USA.

I am 37 years old, and was born at 10:36PM,  July 15, 1966 at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, SC.   I am a cancerian, and I am 5' 9" tall with Brown hair with a little gray on the side and Brown Eyes. Although I do like to wear blue contacts from time to time. I was raised in the church all my life.  I was brought up with good morals and standing.  My mother, Gwendolyn Diane Morgan and father, Dennis Hayden McCall, brought me up in the Southern Baptist Church.  Now, I consider myself  a Christian.  Also, I do not think that religion is a denominational issue.  I believe religion is what your relationship between you and GOD is. Any way, I am a only Child and was raised by my parents to work for what I wanted.  I owe my appreciation to them for teach me to value what I have and earned.  If they would have given me everything I wanted I would not be where I am today.  Although, I am a Only child I am not the only child.  Let me explain this issue.  My mother had another child,  Matthew Hayden McCall.  Matthew died after only being four days old.  So therefore, I can only see myself as a only child.  Although, I do wonder at times what it would have been like to be a older brother and have someone to look up to me.  So MATTHEW where ever you are, I would like to dedicate this page to you.

High School

I attended Seneca High School in 1980 and then attended Oakway High School in Oakway, SC.,  for two years. Then Westminster High School and Oakway High School combined to form West Oak High School were I attended my Senior year.  Being in the Charter class meant a lot to me.  It meant the starting of a new beginning for the local area in which I live.  While in High School I was in the Band, ROTC, Newspaper Staff, Annual Staff, Football Team, Wrestling Team, Track Team, Basketball Team, and many School clubs.  While on the Newspaper Staff, I was the Sports Editor, and during my three years on the Annual Staff, I went from Sports Editor to Junior Editor then to Senior Editor.  I played football for three years and played on Defense, Offense and Special Teams.  Needless to say I never came off the field. I also played Basketball for two years and Wrestled and was on the Track Team for only one year  Well what else is there left as far as High School goes.  I guess there is only one thing to say.  I graduated June 4th, 1984.

The NAVY

On September 2, 1984 I left out of this small little word of mine to find a much of a rude  waking.  I entered the United States NAVY.  I left, Fort Jackson ARMY Base in Columbia, SC., on my way to Boot Camp in San Diego, CA.  I spent eight fun weeks in Boot Camp and made  new friends from all over the world.  While in Boot Camp I was on the Navy Drill Team.  We performed at the World Series, Walt Disneyland, and Sea World.  My Company took TOP Honors at Graduation.  While in Boot Camp my Company won every award there was to win.  I think that speaks well of the Team work we all achieved to put together.  After that I went to my A School which was also in San Diego, CA.  I went to FLEET ASW TRAINING  Base and spent three months there learning to become a Sonar Operator.
From there I left for the USS Sampson  DDG-10, Guided Missile Destroyer.  I could not wait.  I was going to my first ship.  I did not know what I was in for.  The USS Sampson was docked in May Port, FL.  Well, I got there and off to sea I went.  I don't know if you know how ship life is, but it is very confined.  Well, you see like I said before, I am a only child.  Now I had to live with 250 people.  Not just 250 people, but 250 other guys.  I tell you it felt like 2 million people.  While on the USS Sampson I went to Bermuda, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Spain, Africa, Kuwait, Azores, Pakistan, Doha, Bahrain, and Jamaica.  During my duty on the USS Sampson I was attached to the SAR program to recover the Space Shuttle Challenger when it disintegrated.  Also I spent three months in the Person Gulf where I completed the rest of my time on the Sampson.  I was then flown from there to home.  I was then sent to my C School and BEE School back in San Diego, CA.
I arrived in San Diego, CA., after being a home for two weeks.  I then started my eight week training in Basic Electricity and Electronics.  I really got to experience more of San Diego this time.  BEE went real smooth for me. I finished in six weeks in stead of eight.  This was a self  paced course.  There for I got to study at my convenience.  From there I went to my C School.  Where I was to become a Sonar Tech. instead of a Operator.  This training was very difficult although I did graduate.   I then went LOAFAR Grams School.  This is where I learned how to annualize Passive sonar findings.  I spent a year and a half in all in training this time.
This time the NAVY sent me to the USS RAMSEY FFG-2, where I only spent six months before it was decommissioned on Sept. 9, 1998.  While on the USS Ramsey I went to the Portland Rose Festival, in Portland, OR.  This was quite an adventure.  The people in Portland showed my shipmates and myself  a lot of hospitality while we were there.  My hats go off to the people in Portland for the great time they showed me.
While still in San Diego, CA., the NAVY then sent me to the USS BAGLEY FF-1069.  This is when I was sent back to the Persian Gulf for another tour.  Also while on the USS Bagley I went to Japan, Korea, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Hawaii, Alaska, Australia, and Singapore.  I am not sure there is any where else left to go.  While I was on the USS Bagley I was the Captains driver and Weapons Officer Yeoman.  I also became the ships scheduler during dry dock.  I arranged all work to be performed while in dry dock.  While on West Pack I was transferred to the USS CAPE COD AD-43.  I spent six months on the USS Cape Cod.  This is a Destroyer Tender and this type of Ships function was to aid other ships with maintenance while away from home port.  Well, why on the USS Cape Cod, I went back to Japan and Hawaii.  I was then transferred back to  the USS Bagley for the rest of my time in the Navy.
Also while I was in the NAVY I played for the ALL NAVY VOLLEYBALL TEAM.  This was fun and Gave me a big break from normal NAVY life.

The Nuclear Industry

After getting out of the NAVY. I went into the Nuclear business.  I was hired by Duke Power Electric Company in 1990.  I was a in house tech at Oconee Nuclear Station for a few years where I was assigned to a crew that tested Motor Operated Valves.  This consist of  putting a computer on a Valve with a motor operated operator that controls the valve by way of a motor.  I tested these MOV's for certain criteria set up by design engineering department and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
After that I took a job with Duke Engineering Services were I went to Chicago, IL., and worked out of Downers Grove, IL.  I was there about two years were I performed Engineer Calculations on the test done on Motor Operated Valves.  I helped do this at all  of the six Common Wealth Edison Nuclear Plants.  I met some really neat people here and would love to go back.
Well after that job ran out I was sent back to Oconee Nuclear Station in Seneca, SC.  Where I was put on a electrical road crew that traveled between the three Duke Power Nuclear Stations.  This continued to 1997 when I was let go in May.  I hate to Say this but it is a opinion only.  Duke Power Electrical Company has forgotten about its people and is more concerned with the money.
I left there and took the Summer off.  I was then picked up by a Company called Liberty Technical Services.  Here again, I worked on Motor Operated Valves.  My first job was in England.  Not sure how I feel about this country.  It seems to be very stagnate in some areas.  But has a very beautiful country side.  I was there for about a month.  Anyway, in the last year, since they have hired me I have worked in Phoenix, AZ., Chicago IL., Philadelphia PA., Baltimore MD., Salem, NJ.,  Oswego, NY., Seabrook, NH., Nebraska, Baton Rouge, LA.,  and Canada.  I am currently back in the Nuclear Industry working for a Companies that supply Contractors for the stated above.  As you reead on you see i left the Nuclear Industry and ventured out.  I am now back In the Nuclear Industry once again. That's my story and I am sticking to it..........

TTC

I worked for a Food Service Company in Greenville, SC.  The Company I worked for has people all over the Country.  We have Techs in FL, GA, SC, NC, VA, PA, OH, CO, AZ, UT, TX, TN, KY, and various other places.  What the Company does is work on food service equipment.  Such as Coffee Machines, Tea Brewers, Cash Registers, Safes, Juice Machines, Coffee Grinders, Computers, Coke Machines, Chemical Dispensers, and many more.  I was a Field Engineer for this company and I worked on these machines and also performed surveys too.  I pretty much set my on schedule by my work load.  Sometimes it is slow and sometimes I don't know if I am coming or going.  I enjoyed my work and had planned to do this for a while until something better came up for me.

Encompass

Well, I  worked for a Electrical Construction Company In Atlanta, GA.  I was working long hours and I my job title was a Control Specialist.  The Name of the company is called Encompass.  They have Offices in Jacksonville, FL., Atlanta, GA., Memphis, TN., Charlotte, NC., and others.  What I did was to lead a team of people to insure all the control wiring  for  all the instruments and computer input's are connected right  so things work smoothly after we are gone.  It can be very tedious work try to fix other peoples mess ups.  There is a lot of  research that has to be done to figure out what other people have done and why they did it.

My Interest

I am a pretty all around person. I Water Ski, jet Ski, Knee Board, Snow Ski, Scuba dive, ride horses, play Volleyball, Softball, play Basketball, or just hang out at the lake.  I love to listen to music and sing. I use to sing in a Country Band if that makes a difference.  If Music has a beat, I have an open ear.  But, if it really has a beat and you can dance to it LOOK OUT...Dance floor here I come!  *LOL*  I love to mess with my Horses.  My family and I raise horses.  We have about 26 of them now.  At one time we had up to 2 horses around this place.  We have Arabians, Palominos, Paints, Impressive, Bays, and others...  If you are interested in our horses you can see some pictures on  the Rocking M Ranch link. We also at one time had the 1996 APHA  World Cutting Champion.  I love to watch TV. WWE Wrestling, and Sports( Football, NASCAR, Basketball, Baseball, Volleyball),  As far as NASCAR my favorite drives are Dale Jr., Kevin Harvick, and Michael Waldrop, and Mark Martin.  I also like to watch CSI, NBC's Dateline, Discovery Channel, TLC, 48 Hours, Jag, Law & Order, X-Files. I love to watch Movies on HBO, Cinmax, Showtime, and any place I can find them.  I enjoy cooking and make a meal for people. I get no better pleasure than fixing something from scratch and having it melt in your mouth.  I use to sell Ball cards but got out of that.  I love to collect then but do not have the money I use too.

I love to chat.  I have ICQ(#5731738), Game Spy( Cstopher66), Yahoo Messenger( Cstopher66 or Palomina_Cowboy_in_Wranglers). I have never been married and have no children that I am a where of.  But hope one day to have either a little boy or a girl!  *S*  I know that seems odd not being married but I just can't find the right mate.  I am looking for someone to be my best friend, mate, etc... I want someone that can be honest, and straight forward.  Someone who just wants me for me. Not my looks or money. Don't get me wrong, I know those things always come in to play. But, really I want someone to want me for what's in my heart. I pretty much stay to myself and I am very easy going.  Unless you get under my skin.  Which takes a lot to do.  I feel everyone has their breaking points.
