TENNESSEE COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION

The Tennessee Country Music Association (TCMA) was chartered in the State of Tennessee in April of 1995 by Peggy Franck, Founder and CEO, as a non-profit country music association. It was formed to promote country and gospel music and aspiring artists in these fields.

TCMA State Competition 2008

TCMA Competition to be held Oct. 11, 2008. First and second place winners will be able to represent the TCMA and compete in the NACMAI International Competition to be held March 2009 at the Country Tonite Theater in Pigeon Forge, TN.

Once again, it’s time for the annual TCMA Competition and Awards Show 2008. There will be a $5.00 admission for the Sunday Awards Show. This includes all contestants and visitors. Competition will start around 8:30 am and be completed around 4:30 pm on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008 and the Awards Show will be Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008 at 1:00 pm. The Competition and Awards Show will be held at the River Plantation RV Park & Convention Center, 1004 Parkway, in Sevierville, Tennessee. This is located just off of the Parkway after signal light marking 14.5. It is on the left side if you are entering on Hwy 66 into Sevierville from IH 40. Just after signal light marking 14.5, look for the second exit lane to the left, just past the monster truck and helicopter business. There will be a large sign at the entrance for River Plantation. In order for you to qualify, you must be a member or join the Tennessee Country Music Association. Annual dues are $30.00 per individual. Your membership anniversary will fall on the first of the month in which you join. First and second place winners will be able to represent the TCMA and compete in the NACMAI International Competition to be held March 2007 at the Country Tonite Theater in Pigeon Forge, TN.
