I was lucky enough to see two of my favorite country artist preform live at the Minnesota State fair. Brooks and Dunn put on the best show that they possibly could. |
||
The openin' act for the show was Trace Adkins, he sang some songs that I knew and he also sang new songs which would be on his next album. Trace sang for fifty minutes before he stepped off stage.

Before Brooks and Dunn actrually came out on stage 4 big screens (two on each side of the stage) showed some footage of a black pickup truck cruisin' down the highway. The pickup picked up speed and suddenly became a speedin' fireball. The fireball flew quickly all over the earth until it finally landed.
| ||
On the stage was the back end of a huge pickup truck. Inside of the box of the truck sat the band. When the fireball hit the ground on the screen smoke started coverin' the back of the truck. The tailgate slowly came down and Brooks and Dunn came runnin' out of the back of the truck and singin' "Honkey Tonk Truth".
Brooks and Dunn had many great props durin' the concert. Some of which were their lights, confetti shooters, and inflatable balloons. The big screens were nice too, durin' "Neon Moon" computer technology was used to make a moon appear in the upper corner of the screen at the end of the song.
After a great show, they stepped backstage for a short time. Then they came back and Kix Brooks said, "Looks like you've got time for one more... maybe even two." So for their encore they preform "Rock My World (Little Country Girl) and a song I didn't recognize.
After their excellent encore the stepped back into the box of the truck the tailgate went up and they disappered in smoke. Immediatly after the concert ended, the sky was filled with fireworks |
