From March 26-29 1999, Wabasso band and Choir went on a trip to Chicago, this is just a quick description of the trip.

Monday, March 26
The bus left the school at about 9:00, arrived in Chicago around 7:00
We got all our luggage into our hotel rooms and then got back on the bus to go to Old Country Buffet to eat.
The rest of the evening we just stayed at the hotel, which had just a pool, no arcades, no pool tabes. The swimming pool it had wasn't even very big.

Tuesday, March 27
First the band preforms at De Paul University, then the Choir.
Then we visited the Museum of Science and Industry, which is a big place, I could find just about everything there but what I was looking for.
After the museum we went shopping, so all I did was kill time for an hour and a half, I did not buy any soveniers on this trip.
And finally we go somewhere exciting, we went to Midieval Times Dinner and Tournament, it was very entertaining and the food was great.

Sunday, March 28
We visited the John G. Shedd Aquarium, the largest indoor aquarium in the world, the dolphin show wasn't even entertaining.
Then, when you think things couldn't get more boring, we see the Art Institute of Chicago. Which was a huge place, but the only exibit I wanted to see (archetecture) was closed.
Things do get worse though, we then went to Navy Pier for more shopping. Myself and a few others ended up ridding escalators for about an hour (hey, its better than shopping).
Lastly, we watched Comedy Sportz, which was a very funny show where the comedians used suggestions from the audiance for their skits.

Monday, March 29
Our last day in Chicago, we first preformed at the Lutheran Retirement home in St. John's Chapel.
Then we finally get go to Sears Tower, the worlds tallest building. This was about the only place where I used my camera.
Then we ate our last meal in Chicago, I ate at Hard Rock Cafe, the meal was expensive ($12), but good.
Then we get on the bus for another 9 hour ride to Wabasso.

Overall, I thought it was a great trip, although we spent too much time at museums and shopping. My only other complaint is that Chicago is infested with Volks Wagon Beatles (I hate Beatles).
