My name is John, also known as "Big John".

I play in a band in KY. called "Straight Shooter".

The band originated back in 1988, disbanded, and was revived about 6 years ago,

but I have been with it for about 3 years now.

We are primarily a Country band, but we also play some Classic Rock and Blues!

I have been playing guitar off and on since I was about 8 yrs. old. I started my own band called "Rhudes Creek" in 1989 playing Bass guitar. We continued playing till 1994 and disbanded. About 6 months later, I put it back together. Rhudes Creek disbanded forever in August of 1996. I vowed I would never play again, but once bitten, it's hard to stop something that you truly enjoy.

So......I joined up with Straight Shooter in Feb. 98

Been playing ever since and enjoy it more than any other

band I have ever been a part of.
