Volunteer Organizing Committee

    Whenever you hear the expression "VOC", it's referring to the "Volunteer Organizing Committee" here at MBUSI. Early on in our organizing efforts here, it was decided that it would be best to have a core group of TM's that were dedicated to promoting and forming our own union here. Tm's that you could go to for truthful answers to your questions about the UAW and how unionizing would benefit not only TM's, but also MBUSI as a whole and the success of our company.
     There are those who would like for you to think that the VOC is nothing but a group of radical, disgruntled TM's, but that is just not the case. In fact, it is the sincere dedication to MBUSI and our fellow TM's that we joined the VOC so that hopefully through our efforts we could for once as a workforce have a true voice in what goes on in our plant.
     So when you see a VOC member on the job or around town be sure to ask about anything that might be of interest to you about organizing our plant and if they don't have an answer immediately, then they will get back soon with one.
