hardest-drinking, well, let's just say the hardest! band in insurgent country..
 

THE WACO BROTHERS....
Think 'Johnny Cash meets the Clash' and you are halfway there. With MEKONS / THREE JOHNS stalwarts JON LANGFORD & STEVE GOULDING heading up a cast that also includes Alan Doughty (ex-Jesus Jones) and Mark Durante (KMFDM) THE WACO'S have recently released the high point of their 4 album career with the amazing 'WacoWorld'. Along with the 'Cash meets Clash' comparisons this time you'll be able to rock like Mick & Keef, twang like Hank Williams and smooze like Jimmy Cliff!.. usually within a single song!!

SALLY TIMMS..
 sings cowboy songs like no other English woman.. in fact no other English Women sing cowboy
songs but that's getting away from the point!. She sings songs you've never heard before –  written by friends JEFF TWEEDY (WILCO), ROBBIE FULKS, and THE HANDSOME FAMILY. She sings songs you can just tell she has written herself - including a Spanish cancione that would make you cry in your cerveza. She might even sing some Johnny Cash if you're lucky!
Thanks to a band that includes the excellent CHRIS MILLS –( find out what you are missing with Chris Mills by investing in the forthcoming LOOSE compilation, or just go straight out and buy his debut CD 'Every Night Fight For Your Life') - and various WACO's , Sally will have you crying in your beer before the evening is out.
KELLY HOGAN 
Last, but by no means least, comes the final act of God on a night that could only be classed as heaven sent.. A first time visitor to the UK and a name you'll undoubtably be hearing a whole lot more of in future Kelly will be debuting songs from her forthcoming CD, which we can confirm is STUNNING!! Kelly has performed many times with The Indigo Girls (in front of thousands); her last solo album was released on Amy Ray's label. She's also sang the National Anthem at the beginning of an Atlanta Braves game (baseball), in front of 30,000+ people. I tell ya, the woman is a force to be reckoned with. You may have heard her on various WACO CDs, or maybe on the Bob Wills tribute CD by another of JON LANGFORD's offshoots THE PINE VALLEY COSMONAUTS but here is a chance for you to hear just how good she is as a solo artist... remember the name.
