Physical Description: Kid is tall, lean, with brown hair and vivid blue eyes. His expression is often somber and his face is earnest. When he smiles, dimples appear in his cheeks. Kid often wears brown pants and a blue shirt, with two guns strapped to his sides.

Personality: Kid is a worrywart, often torn between what he wants to do and what he thinks is right. He is a very straightforward person, sees the world in black and white. While probably not ever known for his creative streak, Kid is dependable, honest, and forthright; the kind of person you want on your side in a fight. Kid's mother died under mysterious circumstances and his father took off, abandoning Kid and Jed. Each boy was taken in by different families and they lost contact with each other. Soon, Kid decided to try it on his own, so with nothing other than the clothes on his back and some money borrowed from his hometown sweetheart, Doritha, he took off for the Wild West he had heard so much about. The country is a shock for Kid, ever the Southern gentleman, he can't believe that women are treated cruel or sometimes forced to take on unsavory jobs to support themselves. He is also accustomed to slavery and feels a little uncomfortable with the free blacks that populate the area.

Love Interest: None...Although he has promised to send for Doritha when he finds a job, he is smart enough to realize that he doesn't really love her other than in a sisterly way. When Kid falls in love, he falls hard, so whomever he chooses to give his heart to, it will probably be forever.
