Blue Lonesome is currently working on their first recording,
due to be released in the spring on Acousticsound Records. The Band has
been doing some radio appearances as well as local shows in the Southside
Va. area.

Blue Lonesome is one of the most hard driving bluegrass groups
today. Combining traditional music and a drive second to none, Blue Lonesome
will soon be a recognized name in the Bluegrass community. The band consists
of some old and new names in bluegrass music. On bass guitar and vocals
from Prospect, VA is David Woodall. Playing Mandolin and singing lead and
harmony vocals, from Amherst, VA is Wade Cox. Playing banjo from Lynchburg,
VA is Brad Bryant. Playing resophonic guitar and fiddle and singing lead
and harmony vocals from Appomattox, VA is Jack Williams, Jr. Singing lead
vocals and playing guitar, from China Grove, NC is James Torrence. Blue
Lonesome is now accepting bookings for 1999. Blue Lonesome is represented
