Tom Corona, Bob Gilbert, and Sandy Redmond (left to right) are Purely WILD.  We are a acoustic-oriented group playing a variety of eclectic music including folk, blues, bluegrass, and original material.  We've been performing together since 1995.  Denver, Colorado is our home base.  We never know which one of us will be the WILDEST during a performance, but Tom usually gets to be the Pure one.  Our first CD project, Purely WILD - Out of the Rain, is now available. It contains 4 originals and 8 covers of Folk, and Blues tunes. Click here for the cover art and song list.
Personnel
Tom Corona hails from Raritan, New Jersey and has been performing music for over ten years.  He has played in several local bluegrass and celtic bands sometimes under the assumed named of Tom MacCorona.  Tom is a multi-instrumentalist, switching among the five-string banjo, and resophonic, six-, nine-, and twelve-string guitars.  He sings lead and harmony and writes original tunes for the band.  Tom is also a talented sound technician so check out his webpage at http://geocities.datacellar.net/coronatone/.

Sandy Redmond is a born and raised Colorado native from Cripple Creek.  She can sweetly sing the gentle folk songs of Nanci Griffith, Kate Wolf, and others, as well as belt out bluegrass standards and those down and dirty, broken-hearted blues.  Sandy plays guitar, sings lead and harmony and emcees for the group.  Her upbeat energy and enthusiasm qualify her as the WILD one.

Bob Gilbert is the newest member of the group. He grew up near Chicago where he picked up the harmonica bug and has been playing ever since. He provides an extra WILDNESS to the group. Unfortunately, Bob is moving to New Mexico, but will still play with us occasionally.
