Here is a full view of my layout, fully operational.
Here is my two-cab control panel, (left picture) using Atlas® Connector Switches for controlling power of building lights and for control of Kadee® uncouplers. For switch machine control I am using the Atlas® Switch Control Box, which are connected to a powerful Tech II® power supply, these Atlas® Switch Machines or turnouts use AC power. To isolate track sections for double-cab operation and control of a turntable I am using the Atlas® Controller and Selector Switches, a total of five boxes of these switches connected together with switch couplers. These main track controller switches are connected to two Tech II® power supplies these power supplies supply DC to the track. The (picture on the right) is a picture of the mess of wires under my control panel, be ready to do a lot of wiring if you plan to build a modelrailroad layout of your own.
Split overview of my layout.
My lighted turnout diagram.
This is a diagram of my layout, it is very useful for locating switch
position and for knowing which sections of track should be turned on to
run a train on isolated tracks. This allows you to run two trains at once,
using a two cab layout, with isolated track sections. I just put in a lighted
track diagram on my control panel using this track diagram which now allows
me to be able to know which direction my switch machines are switched at
the other end of my layout, this is very useful. I think I will not have
any more derailments on my railroad now since I can tell which way the
switches are switched, (normal position, running straight, or turned position,
also called siding or switching tracks.

On the (right) is the Walthers Cornerstone Series® Vulcan Manufacturing Co. building wiith its canopy loading dock with two sidings coming from the main lines of the layout.
