1. At the sweet young age of twelve he and his father Bob were the main lyricists and music writers for the "Mister Gasser & The Wierdos album 'Hot Rod Hootenanny" on Capitol Records in 1964? This was a release that was inspired by the legendary cartoonist Ed "Big Daddy" Roth. It was re-released on One Way Records circa 1994 and 1995 I believe.
Peter also did the voice of Efen on this work. Although the site does not give writers credits, if you go to www.allmusic.com and select album/ "Hot Rod Hootenanny" you can find the info on this. Bob Klimes has all the copyright information in his files.
2. Has Peter ever mentioned his work with a band called "Moon"?? on Imperial Records. On this work In 1968 or 1969 he co-wrote a song called "Mary Jane." The name of the Album was also "Moon" and was produced by Matthew Moore (who during this time was in rehearsal with Joe Cocker for The Mad Dogs and Englishman sessions and tour). Peter missed out by a hairsbreadth to be included in that project, losing out to Don Preston when

3. Has Peter talked to you about his days in CHaiND and the wild times at the old Topanga Corral? From 1969 through 1973 we appeared there many, many times (about 50) and was one of their biggest drawing bands ever. We appeared with such notable acts as NeilYoung, Spirit, Nils Lofgrin and Smile, Bob Hite from Canned Heat, etc., etc. Plus we were on tour with Ballin' Jack, the
original Tower of Power, George Carlin, etc., etc., during this time. And of course this when we first met Delaney and Bonnie while working numerous times at the old Brass Ring on Venture in Encino. We also played with Blue Rose and the original Nitty Gritty Dirt Band at the ring.
