MERRY CHRISTINE 1958 Plymouth Plaza 4dr, flathead 6, AT 2 speed, Flashy Fun Car! L@@KER! Runs, drives, stops. Needs rust repair, bodywork and paint.

I bought this car as a car just to drive about 5 miles, just to downtown and home and that is about it.

I bought it for the look and for the fun and the 6 cylinder gas mileage and not for a show car or to do work on it. I have replaced many trim items but I was never interested in anything more than that. This is not a show car, just a fun flashy Friday nighter at fifty feet! Its been just a in town driver. I have owned it for a few years. This car is what it is....

PLEASE EXAMINE PHOTOS CLOSELY !!!! LOTS of PHOTOS BELOW

1958 Plymouth Plaza 4 dr Sedan, 6 cylinder , AT, about 79,000, originally from Denver.
I put on a new carb and new head gasket. I have a set of nice-good used 57-58 bullet mirrors(about $75-$100 a pair on eBay this style), I also have a very nice STRAIGHT used rear bumper that I only needs a good polish. I also have the missing rear bumper wing , it is straight but has major surface rust. I also have a 58 radio but not sure if it works and do not have the knobs.

The car runs great and has a manual choke. During the summer and only when the engine is hot, the transmission leaks fluid when it is sitting. It does not leak while driving or during the colder weather.

Here is a pic of my car just before I bought it. And before it was hit. An before I switched the trim and added the wings.

parts that I added on the car are a Nicer grill, V grill center, Fender spears, chrome air vent, anodized headlight bezels, anodized eyebrows, anodized hood trim, nicer hood ornament, anodized tail light units ( I have customized them with 57 top lens and have altered the lower  lenses and can not locate the original silver medallions, packed away i think) , I bought the wings(small surface rust spots and small nicks) separately from the car also (like this), and the other items I mentioned before at the top of this email.

The windshield has a bullseye on drivers side upper and windshield also has sand storm wear.
I bought the 77 Plymouth wheel covers for $80 and you should be able to get $50 for them easy , and I also have the regular wheel cover that go with the car.

The car was hit, in the rear and I tried to push out the damage to the rear panel. I was unable to recover any money from the person that did the damage. I was not present when the damage occurred.
