SO I RIDE

(Kuchenmeister)

I fell with no direction
Neath the late October sky
And wandered through a vision in the rain

Although I met resistance
From the rows of passing crowds
It was providence that guided me along somehow

I reached into my pocket
For a quarter for a phone
It was every cent I owned
And so I Ride
So I ride

I strolled beside a river
Past the roses full in bloom
And washed my hands of seeking out reward

The thorns to me had beckoned
As the tide began to rise
There's good in every evil I surmised with pride

Sure as winds will bicker
For the last green drop of earth
Speaking out it's hurt
And so I ride
So I ride

BRIDGE
I dreamt that I was running
through the hills Beneath a cloud
Followed by a villain
With my head up high and proud

I stood beneath the moon alone
One dark and stormy night
And watched it makes it's way across the sky

So many times I wondered
So many times I cried
So many times I held the reins with darkness as my guide

And true to inspiration
And true to well known form
I'm bound to reap the harvest before I'm done
And so I ride
So I ride
So I ride
