Welcome to my Life!

My name is Barbara but my on line friends know me better as Belle40. I live in a lovely old town on the coast of Massachusetts. I'm a working lady five days a week from 8 to 5 and grateful for my DVR so I never miss General Hospital or the good shows that are on at 10 (past my bedtime!). Country Music was my genre of choice for many years but recently I have been searching for my lost youth and the music of the 60's and 70's makes me smile. I also love to read. Some days there just isn't enough time to indulge in all my interests and do housework, too...

From April through October, as long as the sun is shining, I love to work in the yard with my boombox blaring my favorite Cat Stevens music! Tending to my lawns and gardens, trees and shrubs, as well as feeding the birds and squirrels, keeps me sane. Here is a look back at my GARDENS' history. Each Spring brings a new year of dirty nails and getting high on nature. Belle always hopes for a bumper crop of catnip. Grab a pair of gloves if you must and JOIN US as we began a new year ..
