Comments: I was browsing the website one day and decided to try Oscar's name, with not much hope in mind that I would find anything about her. To my surprise, I found that even after twenty-some years, Oscar is still so many people's favorite. Among all the website about this amazing lady, your Berubara shrine stands out, it's really great and has so much resources! I first read "The Rose of Versailles" when I was ten and have ever since loved and admired her. I still remembered my greatest wish as a kid: I want to buy and own all Oscar's manga when I grow up. :) I want to thank you for putting up such a wonderful page. You really made my dream came true in a better way, as now I enjoy browing through pages and pages of Oscar. A little suggestion for the background color and foreground text: try not to make them a contrast colors, (i.e. red/dark blue, green....) it's hard to read. For people like me who spend long hours enjoying your great website, it's a killing to our eyes. ;| My deepest appreciation and respect to the webmaster and designer and all that helped this beautiful page. You people are just wonderful.

Comments: About Natalie's comment on Andre rarely showing up in the foreground, I think that is why I like him so much. He is always watching over Oscar in a subtle and gentle way, never imposing or stepping into the spotlight. A quiet thoughtful man indeed. Don t you want someone just like Andre watching over you and caring about you. His subtlety is appealing and amiable. There are a few characters in Ikeda sensei's other books who resemble Andre's and his subtlety. I like them all. Natalie, I look forward t viewing your shrine.

He watches over Oscar, in a very subtle way, never imposing or stepping into the spotlight, not even in the book. Don't you want someone like hat to just watch over you and being there whenever you need him? Andre's subtlety matches his personality and his status in society at that day and age. He is so amiable. There are other characters in Ikeda sensei's other books who resemble Andre, but of course Andre is very unique. I like all of those characters. Natalie, I am looking forward to your Andre shrine.
