You may ask yourself.....How can one person make such a difference in your life when you don't even know them? Seeing as how you obviously have the internet, you may go into chat rooms,
and meet someone halfway across the continent, and feel compelled to speak the words "I love you" to them.
You might not even know what they look like. Well, Tori Amos is a lifesaver. I know now how she acts, sings, looks, and even feels.
Just one small touch made my whole life look brighter. I sometimes wonder if she knows what hse is doing to people. Does she
know how much her music is part of my daily life? Does she care? Well, she probably doesn't really know that I listen to her religiously,
but just seeing her, and being lost as one of her adoring fans in the sea of people....that's enough for me. To be able to reach out, and shake her hand, then turn around in
utter giddiness. The feeling is so great. Maaaan, I wish I was Tori Amos. Yeah yeah....who doesn't? After seeing her play, being lulled to a near-sleep by her voice, piano, and little moans. That's enough for me.
For a little while, my life will seem brighter. Everything I do will be great because I reached out and touched Tori Amos. It's amazing. It really is.
And for those of you who aren't fans, and think that Tori is a bitch, well.....she's not.
A bitch doesn't come out and give smiles to her fans like a friend. She gave hugs to people, talked to us during the show. It almost made me feel
like running up to her, and giving her a big hug right away. She stood there after the show listening to people tell her that she almost saved their lives.
She looked pleased. I must say, that after meeting Tori, I can defend her 100Xs better. *smiling*
I hope some others can be touched as much as I was.
