As you had already noticed, my name is Jeroen Sopers. My birthday was on october 26th 1974 which means that I'm a scorpion. The colour of my hair is brown and so is the colour of my eyes. My length is 1.89 m. and my weight is 65 kgs. As you already found out I study Human Geography (in French Geography Humaine) at the University of Utrecht. My hobby's are sports, more specific soccer (I play soccer in the 9th squad of SV Houten. You can soon find a homepage of SV Houten 9 on the internet. I'll keep you informed!!! You can see some results further down this page). My favorite soccerteam is Ajax from Amsterdam. Watch the next picture... it's the most beautiful sign in Dutch history. Well, after having seen this most beautiful sign, I'll continue describing myself. I'm a very chauvinistic person. I love my country the Netherlands. That's why I've put the national banner on top of this page. Though I'm a chauvinist I adore another country, Danmark,too.(you can find a link to this country further on at this page). A special reason in 1995 made me feel only stronger connected to this country. I'd also like to make two links to great footballclubs in Danmark, BRONDBY I.F. and ARHUS G.F.. It's a shame that they don't play in the champions League. There is of course also a link to a very good organisation, the World Wildlife fund,too. Not only because of the goodness of this organisation, but also because this organisation has the panda in its' sign, which is my favorite animal... I also like watching movies. The best movies I ever watched are Speed, Naked Gun 2-and-a-half, Little Women and Titanic. My favorite actress is Winona Ryder. She plays the third movie: Little Women. As you can see she's clickable, so you can visit a page which is about her. I like to mail people, as a matter of fact mailing is one of my hobby's and so is working on and with the internet. Since April 1998 there is a new band in town. U-Play is the name, and we play fabulous music. I play the drums. Lots of covers, like Nobody's Wife of Anouk, Like the way I do of Melissa Etheridge and Belle Helene of Doe Maar, but we also have our own songs. So come and listen to us fast. The when and where concerning our performances will soon appear on this homepage. U-Play will also get its own homepage. This address will also soon appear on this page.
As most people know I am a member of a fabulous choir in Houten, where I play the drums, too. Come and see us once. You'll certainly like it!!! They have also their own homepage: Jongerenkoor Houten.
For the soccer-fans among you: S.V. HOUTEN 9, my team has already played a few matches. Last season we ended tenth... We hope for better this year.

results:
The new season started at the 6th of September. Houten 9 played their first test match against V.E.P. from Woerden. It was a 4-4 draw. Goals by Bjorn (3 times) and Jeroen S... The second match was the first league match against V.V. Maarssen. There was a half time score of 1-0 for Maarssen. Jeroen S. (= me) scored 1-1 after a great pass from Leo. Around the 65th minute the opponents scored twice, so we were 1-3 behind. Ten minutes before the final whistle we won a corner kick. After some struggling in the Maarssen defence the ball went in. 2-3. In the 87th minute Leo perfected his game with a great shot from 18 meters: 3-3, the final score. But the actual man of the match after my opinion was our goal keeper Norbert, who made some fabulous saves, including a penalty kick!!!
The second match was played at Oud Wulven against Schalkwijk. It was an exiting match, which we won luckily with 3-2. Goals by Roel, Erik and Herbert.
