The location, near Reedville, Virginia, and within walking distance of a State Park on the Chesapeake Bay, is an ideal retreat for artists and creative people. Alvaro's plans to build a private center for the arts are slowly becoming reality through persistence and hard work. Construction has been completed on what will one day be the central gallery of the Retreat Center for the Arts in the Northern Neck of Virginia.
