Acrylic on canvas. This painting will mean  more to those that have been there ....I never understood the true meaning of  "A Breath Taking View" until I saw the Grand Canyon in person!

Acrylic on Canvas.  T his is a ancient Indian village on Arizona. There are Indians living on this mountain today, with no running water, electricity or plumbing. all supplies (water and food) have to be brought up the mountain. I believe this village is closed to non-tribal members.
I Toured the village a few years ago, and it was a real treat.

This acrylic on canvas  was painted of the towns landmark, during my tour of duty in the U.S. Army (8th Infantry Division, 8th Signal Battalion) in 1970.

My mother took a trip to Greece and came home with a photo taken from     a monastery looking out toward another monastery on a hill top across the valley ...I knew     she would like this as a painting, so I painted it as a surprise for her.
