Tonight I called LoveLine with Stabbing Westward and got through and I think I talked to Christopher Hall! I called and some guy for LoveLine answered. He asked my name, age, and where I was from.
I said, "I have a question for Stabbing Westward."
And he goes, "What's that?"
And I said, "Why did they cut out those 4 lines from 'What Do I Have To Do?'"
And he goes,"For the edit? The radio edit?"
And I said, "Yea"
And he said, "What's the lines??"
And I told him that I couldnt remember because I was way too excited.
So he told me ,"Hold on." And I heard him asking the band the question. I heard him say, "I think it's a fan." and then, a different guy got on the phone and goes, "Hello?"
**Note: My heart was pounding rampantly because the voice sounded intensly familiar...**
and I said "Hi, I remember the lines now."
and he went, "I dont think we'll be able to do that, anything else you'd like to ask Stabbing Westward??"
I said, "How old is Christopher Hall?"
He said, "He's in his late...he's in his twenties."
I said, "Well, I want to know exactly."
He says, "Why?"
I said, "Cos Im in love with Christopher Hall, that's why!!!"
He then asked, "How old are you?" (I KNEW it wasnt the Loveline guy for sure because I already told them my age, and they write it down...)
I said, "Fifteen."
He replied, "You're too young."
I said, "Well, I can still like him!"
He said, "I never said you couldn't..."
At this point the familiarity of his voice was driving me nuts so I asked, "Who IS this???!!!"
He answered with, "Uhh...I have to go..."
I said, "Oh. Ok, well, bye..."
He said, "Bye!!" and that was it.
Now true, it could easily have been Walter or Jim, they were also there, but I would like to think that it was Christopher. I am very happy, and I am STILL shaking!!! That was SO cool!
