ABRAXAS is NOT currently reading poetry manuscripts.
The next reading period will be announced in the spring of 2009.

ABRAXAS #44/45, marking our return to publishing after a long hiatus, appeared in March 2006. The current issue, ABRAXAS #46, brings a change of format, presenting larger selections of the work of fewer poets in every issue.

During reading periods we are interested in seeing contemporary poetry in the lyric mode, poetry translations, and experimental poetry. Please send up to five selections and a self-addressed, stamped envelope. No electronic submissions, please. Translations must include the original poem. Sample issues and subscriptions are available.
