Mrs. Ludwig's second grade class was also involved in the holiday program preparations. Her group helped create the polar bears. We discussed textures and sizes. Our gym is huge and we learned that we need to create large pieces so that they can be seen from across the room. We also discussed textures and the shapes of the bears faces. The second class was devoted to creating a colorful collar and something for the bear to hold. A touch of glitter really made these guys "sparkle".
