Speaking Hypothetically
Suppose,
for just a moment
that a woman with very little self-knowledge
and a great deal of imagination
decided that in order to be
SOMEONE
she'd have to take a major leap
and turn into someone NEW.
And, just suppose, for the sake of supposition
that the woman
who never really knew exactly WHO she had been
found comfort in who she
COULD BE
and became that one she'd only just discovered
Wouldn't it mean then,
that she IS different than she WAS
and she can't go back to
then again
And, suppose, that when the woman changed the DOING
she also changed the BEING
doesn't that mean that she was who she said
for as long as she
felt and thought and loved like the
her she had discovered
Hypothetically, I mean, doesn't that mean that she IS
who she BECAME
or at least she's MORE than that...
all that she was (though she thought it was nothing)
and all that she became (though THEY thought it was nothing)
were simply pieces of the puzzle that could be all she CAN BE...
Hypothetically.
