On October 12, 1997, our world changed forever when the beautiful
soul of John Denver was lost to us in a tragic accident. I felt the
page must change as well. So news of John's funeral, the impact his
death has had on his fans, and tributes to his music and his memory are
now in the first part of this www page. The later part of the page is the
body of information about John, his career and his music.
"Though the singer is silent, there still is the truth of the song"
John Denver's concern for the world and the environment goes far
beyond what we hear in the lyrics to his music. He founded The Windstar
Foundation, The Hunger Project, and Plant-It 2000.
