A Brief Intro - Seow Yoke May

Since August 2005, I'm back to Thailand until May 2007 as a (mature) student! hehe. I am doing a Master of Science programme in Information Management in the Asian Institute of Technology or more commonly known as AIT (www.ait.ac.th).

I also had the opportunity to live in Italy for two and a half months between April and June 2005 with a partial scholarship to do an Italian language course. So, I chose University for Foreigners in Perugia, the hilly and beautiful capital of Umbria. (www.unistrapg.it).

After one and a half years in Thailand, I returned to Kuala Lumpur and worked with the UNDP-Asia Pacific Development Information Programme (www.apdip.net).

In January 2001, I had a new beginning in Thailand. I worked with the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center located on the beautiful campus of AIT (www.adpc.net). I love Thailand especially the warmth of the people.

I was in Kabul, the capital city of Afghanistan, from June to July 2003. I conducted website development training with UNDP Afghanistan ICT capacity building project in Afghanistan. I trained the ICT staff of Afghanistan's government ministries and UNDP Afghanistan.   View Photos

The youngest among my 2 brothers and sister, I left home for the first time in 1997 to further my studies in England, UK. For 10 months, I studied in University of Portsmouth (www.ports.ac.uk).   View Photos

I have also worked and lived in Labuan, an island in East Malaysia for a month in 1998. Visit the Labuan Tourism website at www.labuantourism.com.my.   View Photos
