Inspiration is found in the strangest of places.

Today, when Cassie was looking for a snack, she asked if she could have some wafer cookies.  Naturally, I didn't mind.

A few minutes later, she came to me saying, "Hey mom, look!"

I HAD to grab the camera!  Because I didn't see cookies, I saw.......

....blocks!!!

Within the hour, I was downstairs pulling out pinks, oranges, and browns to make the first few blocks of a new quilt.

This will be scrappy since I don't have enough of any one of these fabrics.

Here's a possible layout of the blocks, but I won't really know until I get more together
