Garbage
Garbage is undeniably the best
band ever. They are currently made up of four members with
prospects of adding a fifth bass player. Shirley Manson born in Edinburgh,
Scotland is the star of the band as an excellent female vocalist.
The band actually started out without her. Butch Vig who organized
the group is a drummer and famous producer for his work with Smashing
Pumpkins and Nirvana. Also part of his group was Steve Marker
an accoplished guitarist and bass player. Duke Erikson another one
of the originals specializes in guitars and keyboards. Shirley was
recruited later from her original band, The Angelfish. She is what
helped the band get going and put them on the road for success. They
have put out two major albums, the first one entitled Garbage which
hit big first in New Zealand and their newest just out entitled
Version 2.0. Both albums were extreremly sucessful for the
group and I expect more great music from them in the future.
