American Airlines First 737-800 - The
Michele Marie
Final Assembly
Her life for me started when the fuselage rolled in from
Wichita into Final Assembly. She came (basically as a tin-can), to have
her wings, empennage, landing gear, engines, all the systems, and
interiors installed.
Renton Field
After completion in Final Assembly, she is rolled over to
Renton field to perform engine runs, and test all the systems before her first
flight.
Customer Delivery Center
Finally, she arrives at the Customer Delivery Center!
Here we work
through any bugs found during the first flight, and deliver to the customer!!
