Naked Madonna

a short film script written by Nabil Shaban

the following "Naked Madonna" is a script I wrote on January 19th 1999, as a proposalfor a ten minute film for British television.
The narrative is based on a true ghost storytold to me by my brother, Ra’ad.
Much of what you are about to read, apparently happened to him.

"Naked Madonna" by Nabil Shaban

01 EXT. HEATHROW AIRPORT , LONDON, ENGLAND. EVENING
Twilight and mist has hit the busy Terminal 3. An ominous looking passenger plane comes inlow....the screamingengine noise is shattering....a sense of foreboding...subdued lighting...strange cameraangles...worried expressions onpunters faces....a car, illegally parked being towed away...

02 EXT. ROAD LEADING TO TERMINAL 3. EVENING
CLOSE UP of orange “Disabled Driver” sticker on rear window of car. Pull away to reveal asilver sports carmotoring towards the Terminal building....the camera as it zooms out pauses to take in theregistration number plate“666 UFO”.

Like a ghost on the wing, the camera moves to the side of the car, passing a folded wheelchair on the back seat andon to show in the driver’s seat, a small, dark Semitic-looking disabled man. Sitting next tohim is a young Arabwoman. They both wear apprehensive expressions.

03 EXT. TERMINAL 3, HEATHROW. EVENING
The car pulls up alongside the Jordanian Airlines entrance of the Terminal building.

JONATHAN
Shireen....

SHIREEN turns and looks with concern at Jonathan....

JONATHAN
You meet your brother. I’ll park the car in the Short Term ...

SHIREEN
Oh Jonathan. Don’t worry.....

SHIREEN tenderly strokes JONATHAN’s shoulder, trying to reassure him but clearly notsure herself...

SHIREEN
....It will be alright. Selim is really cool. He’s nothinglike the rest of the family.

JONATHAN
They obviously think he can change your mind...otherwisewhy would they summon him?

SHIREEN
He has always been my greatest ally....

JONATHAN
You say he’s been doing two years’ National Service....That’s bound to change people....

SHIREEN
No...there’s something special saving his soul...

JONATHAN
.....and he’s in the Special Forces...the bloody Jordanian S.A.S. You can’t get more Reactionary..

SHIREEN
You’re not listening, are you. He’s got some Guardian protecting his spiritual well-being. My brother will always be on the side of the angels.

JONATHAN
Shireen, you’re nuts....

SHIREEN
Hark who’s talking! Super-Crank. You and your S.P.I. Files!

A patrolling policewoman gives them the “You can’t wait here” eye.....SHIREEN leaps outof the car, hurriedlykissing JONATHAN on the lips. As she enters the building, she yells back at him....

SHIREEN
Anyway, I am. Nuts about you!

04 EXT. SHORT TERM CAR PARK, HEATHROW. EVENING

JONATHAN sitting gloomily in his car, parked in the disabled bay, looking in his rear-viewmirror, waiting forSHIREEN and her brother, SELIM to appear.

When he sees them coming towards the car from behind, SELIM carrying several suitcases,JONATHAN stiffens ashe notices SELIM is in uniform....

JONATHAN
Bloody Squaddies!

JONATHAN electrically winds down his window as SHIREEN and SELIM arrive at hisdoor....and attempts awelcoming smile.

SHIREEN
Jonathan, this is my mad, bad, lovely brother, Selim.....

SELIM reaches forward to shake hands, eyes smiling...obviously sincerely pleased to meetJONATHAN.....

SHIREEN
..And Selim, this is my mad, bad lovely lover, Jonathan....and I’mgoing to marry him whatever anyone says...

SELIM
Pleased to meet you, Jonathan. Nice car. What’s the top speed?

JONATHAN
I’ve touched 175mph.....

SELIM
No Shit! Sis, did you have to fall for a guy that’s crazier than me!

SELIM goes to get in the back seat and looks hard at the wheelchair blocking hisway.....JONATHAN andSHIREEN notice the hesitancy and glance at each other.

SELIM
Can I put your chair in the boot?

JONATHAN
Yeah, sure.

SHIREEN smiles and opens the boot as SELIM lifts the wheelchair out of the car and puts itin, together with hissuitcases.

05 EXT. CHISWICK FLYOVER, LONDON. EVENING
JONATHAN driving, with SHIREEN and SELIM sitting on the back seat, armsaffectionately wrapped around eachother’s shoulders.

SELIM
Listen, Jonathan, I don’t know what Sis has told you about mebut I’m no bull-shitter....I don’t care if you’ve got three legs or no legs. Sis has been out with some of the worse bastards on two legs.....

SHIREEN digs SELIM in the ribs...

SHIREEN
Yes. Most of them were your mates.

SELIM
What matters is what’s inside. If Sis loves you loving her, then that’s good enough for me. And if you think I’m being patronising..... Tough shit.

SHIREEN digs him in the ribs, harder this time, making him squeal...

JONATHAN
You know I’m not a Muslim...

SELIM
Yeah? So what, we can’t all be perfect.

JONATHAN looks intently at SELIM’s reflection in the mirror, to gauge his reaction to thenext thing he says...

JONATHAN
I’m, in fact, Jewish.

For a split second, JONATHAN detects a startled look in SELIM’s face...

SELIM
Like I said - we can’t all be perfect...

SELIM turns to SHIREEN, who gives him a serene innocent-looking smile....

SELIM
Does Mum and Dad know this?

SHIREEN
No. And you’re not to tell them. At least not untilJonathan and I are married.

JONATHAN
Anyway, I’m not a practising Jew. My parents were Marxists.

SHIREEN
Actually, he’s a bloody Heathen...

JONATHAN
Yeah, I’m a Born Again Pagan.

06 INT. APARTMENT BLOCKS, CHISWICK . EVENING
The Threesome are in the hallway leading to the front door of JONATHAN’s ground floorapartment. JONATHANin his wheelchair, unlocks the door as SHIREEN bends down to kiss him goodbye.

SHIREEN
Okay, I’m going to leave you two to get to know each other.I’ll be back in a couple of hours. And don’t go scaringeach other with too many ghost stories.

07 INT. JONATHAN’S SITTING-ROOM. EVENING
A relaxed atmosphere. JONATHAN sipping a glass of wine........whilest SELIM, holding a can of beer, is surveying JONATHAN’s bookcase, stuffed full ofbooks on thesupernatural, paranormal, UFOs etc.

SELIM
So, you’re into ghost stories.

JONATHAN
Yeah, I’m pleased to say I’ve turned a hobby into a fulltime job. I’ll show you my office if you like.

08 INT. JONATHAN’S OFFICE. EVENING
JONATHAN opens his office door to let SELIM in, who pauses to look at the name plaque -“S.P.I. SIRIUSPARANORMAL INVESTIGATIONS”.

SELIM
“S - P - I....Huh, Spy...Sirius Paranormal Investigations...I like it.

JONATHAN
Sometimes I call it Seriously Paranoid Investigations.

They go in. The Office walls are covered in strange photos, documents. The desk is litteredwith files, papers, books, floppy disks. Several computers, printer, scanner etc take up another wall. Cameraequipment, measuring devices andother “Ghost-busting” paraphenalia litter a corner. SELIM is impressed.

SELIM
I know what you mean. There’s a lot of scarey shit out there. You can’t afford to take yourself too seriously.

JONATHAN
I’ve even made up this spoof SPI I.D. card based on the FBIones Mulder and Scully have at the start of the X-Files TV show.

With a sheepish grin, JONATHAN hands SELIM a small strip of plastic.

SELIM
I hope, though, this isn’t all one big piss-take?

JONATHAN
Oh no. The work is serius. The stories are real and most of the timeI believe the phenomena I investigate genuinely indicates that there are other dimensions to this reality....Take for example this photograph.

JONATHAN points to a blow-up, poster size photograph of ghostly white image of a beardedman reflected in awall-length mirror. Also in the picture is a little child beside the apparent apparition. Thechild’s mother can also beseen doing the ironing.

JONATHAN
This picture was taken by a friend of mine whilest he and hisfamily were on holiday. He swears that the ghostly image wasnot evident when he snapped the shot.

SELIM
Bloody hell. Looks like Jesus Christ...Reminds me of the imageon the Turin Shroud....

JONATHAN
I know. Okay it could be a hoax but I don’t believe my friend iseither technically or psychologically capable of faking this.

SELIM
I suppose it could be an illusion created by the flashlight.....

JONATHAN
Sure but prior to the picture being taken, for several years infact, the little girl in the photograph, my friend’s daughter, was often found talking to something or someone she seemed to be staring at. This went on for so long, my friend and his wife gotfreaked out and sought the advise of a priest. They were thinkingthey may need an exorcism...

SELIM
Exorcism? I’ve something to tell you about that....

JONATHAN
Anyway, the priest came and sussed out the vibes and concludedthere was definitely an entity present but that it was positive andbenign. Possibly some kind of Guardian Angel for the little girl and it be wrong to try to exorcise it.

SELIM
A priest said that?

JONATHAN
So my friend says. However, he did say. If the situation turned nastythen he would carry out an exorcism....

SELIM goes over to another blow-up photo on the wall. It looks like a negative image of abird or bee in flight. Helooks questioningly at JONATHAN.

JONATHAN
This is a photograph of an imprint of an owl, left on a pane of glass when it flew against someone’s window one night. Apart from this image there wasno other evidence of the bird the next morning.

SELIM
No body? No feathers?

JONATHAN
Nope. Nothing. Now get this. You know what an owl is an omen of?

SELIM
No. What?

JONATHAN
Impending death. Either yours or someone in the family.

SELIM
We have something similar in Arab culture Hyenas are omens of deathor disaster....

JONATHAN
.....Also a picture falling off a wall. And a picture of a bird falling must be a double-whammy. Five days after this owlincident, a picture of a bird did in fact fall from the wall in thesepeople’s house. Three days later, their son who had cancer, died.

SELIM
Oh yes, I believe it. I’ve had too many weird things happen to meto have doubts any more....

SELIM sits down and rolls a cigerette.

SELIM
I’ll tell you one of them which your stories remind me of.

09 INT. JONATHAN’S OFFICE. EVENING
A candle is lit. It has got darker outside. The lights have been dimmed and JONATHANlights two more candles..

SELIM
Tell me, do you have much bad luck with that car of yours?

JONATHAN
Why do you ask?

SELIM
Your number plate. 666. Is that wise? Aren’t you askingfor trouble?

JONATHAN
Shireen told me many things about you but not that you weresuperstitious.

SELIM
I didn’t use to be....and I wouldn’t call it superstition. There arethings out there which we must respect. This I have learnt the hard way.

JONATHAN
Tell me about it.

10 EXT. AMMAN, JORDAN (FLASHBACK). DAY
Panaramic view of the white hot cityscape of Amman, stretched across the seven hills.Mosques and minarets addaesthetic curves and domes to the rectangularity of tower blocks. Like all overcrowded cities, the hubbub and noise, frenetic activity, the chaotic driving of manic, macho motorists create an illusory tapestry ofanarchic life.

Across the vaporous landscape, defining order and ritual, comes the amplified sound of theCALL TO PRAYER, theubiquitous signature of Islamic locations.

SELIM (Voice-Over)
It happened when the family were still living in Amman, Jordan.Although Father was away in the Gulf states on business at the time.

11 EXT. STREET MARKET, AMMAN, (FLASHBACK). DAY
SELIM, younger and without a moustache and soldiers uniform, is walking with two youngmale friends through abusy market. Many of the young women shopping are in Western dress and seem relaxed andoutward-going. As thetrio of boys pass them by, there is much playful banter, teasing and giggling. Overall, theatmosphere isgood-humoured and confident.

The sounds coming from stall-holders’ cassette players are a mixture of western pop andArab popular music. However, the song which dominates the soundtrack the most, drifting in and out isMADONNA’s “LIKE AVIRGIN”.... Whenever SELIM hears it, he gives a little dance and sings a few bars with hisfriends. Clearly, this is hiscurrent favourite.

12 EXT. MARKET MOSQUE, AMMAN, (FLASHBACK). DAY
Towards the end of the market is a mosque where STREET SELLERS of RELIGIOUSCHARMS and GOODLUCK TRINKETS are congregated, hassling the Faithful and passerbys alike.

SELIM (Voice-Over)
At that time I was an Atheist and proud of it. The rest of the family were devout Muslims, of course. Especiallymy Mum....

At an entrance to an alley stands an OLD MAN, bearded, dirty and gaunt, carrying a basketfull of rolls of paperwith beautiful colourful calligraphic texts from the Koran. However, he doesn’t seem to bemaking any effort tosell any. Instead, he seems to be concentrating on looking out for someone.

SELIM (Voice-Over)
......But me, I was planning on being a western-style lawyer, and religion was illogical, irrational and I wanted no part of it.

The OLD MAN suddenly sees who he has been looking out for. It is SELIM with his twofriends. He rushes up tohim, pushing the TWO FRIENDS aside, interrupting their conversation. The OLD MAN is very determined that he is taken seriously.

OLD MAN
Young Master, I have something for you....This you will like....

The OLD MAN reaches into his flowing garments and pulls out a rolled parchment -obviously older and more dog-eared.

SELIM and his FRIENDS laugh nervously, annoyed and embarressed at the OLD MAN’s intrusion but not wanting to be rude.

SELIM
Sorry, old man. Not interested.

Ignoring SELIM’s disclaimer, the OLD MAN unrolls the parchment and shows the stillbeautiful but now fadedArabic script of some prayer from the Koran.

OLD MAN
Please look. See how beautiful it is. It is very old.Not like the others.

He flings the basket of rolled paper to the ground to make his point....

SELIM
No, honestly....

OLD MAN
See. This is papyrus. Very ancient. It is for you. It willward off the Evil Eye. It will keep you pure...

The OLD MAN thrusts the parchment into SELIM’s hands...who does begin to look at it withinterest.

OLD MAN
It is special, you agree?

One of the FRIENDS goes to look at it but the OLD MAN pushes him away.

SELIM
Well, it’s certainly very beautiful...and...looks genuine enough. Must be very old. And valuable....

SELIM thrusts the parchment back at the OLD MAN...

SELIM
No. Too antique for me. I couldn’t possibly afford it. I’ve got no money....

SELIM shows his empty pockets..

OLD MAN
It is for you. I don’t want money. IT IS FOR YOU.Take it...

SELIM
You dont want money?

OLD MAN
I cannot take money. YOU are meant to have it.

SELIM
Who are you? Do I know you?

OLD MAN
Please take it...

SELIM
Do you know me?

OLD MAN
For my soul’s sake, take it....

SELIM takes another look at it and nods at the OLD MAN, who is overjoyed....

SELIM (Voice-Over)
I decided to accept the Old Man’s gift, but not for me.But for my Mother. She’s really into that sort of thing.

13 INT. KITCHEN in SELIM’s FAMILY HOME, AMMAN, (FLASHBACK). DAY
SELIM’s MOTHER is looking, with SELIM, in wonderment at the parchment. Crowdingaround her are her threedaughters and WALID, the older son, who is drinking a bottle of Coke and getting too closeto spilling it over theprecious antique, in his efforts to get a better look. SHIREEN manages to stand between thebottle and papyrus.

MOTHER
It is a marvel. Thank you, Selim. But I cannot have it. You must keep it. The Old Man gave it you for a reason.

SELIM
But what am I suppose to do with it?

MOTHER
Hang it on your bedroom wall. Perhaps something willrub off on to you. Inshallah.

14 INT. SELIM’s BEDROOM, AMMAN, (FLASHBACK). DAY
SELIM pins the parchment on the wall, next to a poster of the pop singer, MADONNA, wholying naked on a furrug. WALID reclining on his own bed, opens another bottle of Coke. SELIM steps back tolook at it but quicklyturns his gaze to admire the naked Madonna.

WALID
You’ll go blind if you keep looking at her.

SELIM
It’s not the looking that makes you blind. Anyway, your teeth will rot if you keep drinking that shit.

15 EXT. AMMAN, (FLASHBACK). DUSK
The Faithful are Called to Prayer as the sun sinks below the Seven Hills. Twilight andShadows dull the whitebuildings as neons light up a darkening panarama.

16 EXT. CITY STREETS, AMMAN, (FLASHBACK). DUSK
The last of the people silently hurry indoors as an unnatural mist creeps around corners ofbuildings and steals alongthe empty streets.

17 INT. SELIM’s BEDROOM, AMMAN, (FLASHBACK). NIGHT
The bedroom is darkened and the two brothers, SELIM and WALID, are fast asleep in theirbeds.

CLOSE UP of SELIM, with eyes blissfully shut.....

Suddenly - his eyes jerk open - shocked - as his head is VIOLENTLY pulled back andSMASHED forward againstthe wall. He tries to let out a yell but nothing comes out of his mouth. His head is yankedback again and smashedagainst the wall. He struggles to get free of his unseen assailant but is unable to do so. Insteadthe head-banging onlygets worse. Finally SELIM blacks out....

18 INT. SELIM’s BEDROOM, AMMAN, (FLASHBACK). NEXTMORNING
Light streaming in the window and SELIM suddenly wakes up, looking dreadful, foreheadbadly bruised. He swingsround and sees WALID still asleep. In a temper, he leaps on to WALID, grabbing his hair andbanging his headagainst the wall....

SELIM
You bastard! Why did you do this to me last night?

WALID screaming and rolling himself into a ball..

WALID
What are you talking about?

SELIM
Smashing my head against the wall, you prick!

WALID
It wasn’t me. You damn moron.

WALID gets the better of SELIM and gets him in a wrestling lock and holds him untilSELIM calms down.

The TWO go to the mirror and examine SELIM’s bruises on his forehead.

WALID
I promise you I’m not responsible for them bruises.

SELIM
Well, I felt someone’s hand grab my head....

WALID
You probably had a nightmare and did it to yourself.

19 INT. KITCHEN, AMMAN, (FLASHBACK). BREAKFAST
SELIM, WALID and the other children are at the breakfast table. MOTHER is pouringorange juice into SELIM’sglass. She gives him a concerned look.....

MOTHER
You look dreadful. Have you and Walid been fightingagain?

WALID
I never touched him, Mum.

SELIM
I felt a hand grab my hair during the night and it kept banging my head against the wall. It went on all night. I couldn’t see who it was..

WALID
It wasn’t me, Ma, honest.

SELIM
Then who was it?

MOTHER
Why would Walid do such a thing?

WALID
Yes, why would I do such a thing?

MOTHER
Shut up, Walid....

MOTHER looks at the GIRLS and signals them to leave....

MOTHER
And you Walid.

WALID sulks out but picks up a bottle of Coke as he goes.

MOTHER
You felt a hand....

SELIM
It was powerful. I just couldn’t escape its grip...

MOTHER
And you could see no one?

SELIM
I tried to turn but it wouldn’t let me.

MOTHER
Are you and Walid making this up to tease me? I know you think I am gullible....but such thingsdo happen. Your Aunt Fatma lived next door toa sorcerer who was visited by Djinns the firstmidnight of every month. His wife had to cook them a banquet....Then, there was -

SELIM
Oh Mother, my head really hurts.

She puts a cold compress on his forehead....

MOTHER
If this was not Walid, it was no one...and if it was noone, then it was a bad spirit....and we will have to getthe Mullah to do an exorcism....

SELIM
Oh no, Ma...

MOTHER
I know. This I want to avoid. An exorcism in our family! With your Father away too. The shame of it. The neighbours will love it. No. This we must sort out ourselves....

20 EXT. AMMAN, (FLASHBACK). DUSK
Once again Twilight and Shadows dull the white buildings as neons light up a darkeningpanarama, as the Faithful areCalled to Prayer with the blood-red sun sinking below the Seven Hills.

21 EXT. CITY STREETS, AMMAN, (FLASHBACK). DUSK
Doors and windows slam shut as the unnatural mist, tinged with green, returns and slidesaround buildings andslinking along empty streets.

22 INT. SELIM’s BEDROOM, AMMAN, (FLASHBACK). NIGHT
The two brothers, SELIM and WALID, are asleep, but theirs is a restless sleep.Suddenly, SELIM is rudely awakened and once again his head is being slammed against thewall. He screams out.
This time a sound escapes and WALID sits up in horror as he sees a BONEY HAND grippingSELIM’s hair tightlyand jerking his head violently back and forth....

SELIM, in tears, manages to turn and see that WALID is nowhere near him. The terror hesees in WALID’s eyesmakes him fear the worse....

BLACKOUT

23 INT. KITCHEN, AMMAN, (FLASHBACK). BREAKFAST
SILENCE at the breakfast table. ALL are looking down. No one is touching their food.MOTHER gets up and looksat her CHILDREN.

MOTHER
I will not go to the Mullah...Unless I really, reallyhave to. I have something we can try.

She goes out.

SHIREEN
Walid, did you really see the hand?

RABEERA
Selim, I don’t want you to die....

SELIM
Shut up. I’m not going to die

However, SELIM looks as worried as his SISTERS and WALID.

MOTHER comes back in, clutching a gold chain and charm containing a protective scripturefrom the Koran.

MOTHER
Wear these Holy Words from the Koran on yourneck tonight, and I’m sure you will be safe....

She puts the chain around SELIM’s neck, who is looking distinctly uncomfortable.

24 EXT. AMMAN, (FLASHBACK). DUSK
The sun sets behind a Mosque, as the Faithful are Called to Prayer.

25 EXT. CITY STREETS, AMMAN, (FLASHBACK). DUSK
Green mist, branching out like tendrils, stretch and weave down darkened streets, threateningto throttle all in itswake.

26 INT. KITCHEN, AMMAN, (FLASHBACK). BREAKFAST
EVERYONE is at the breakfast table except SELIM. They are all waiting in anticipation forhim to emerge from theBathroom. He comes in, looking utterly defeated, exhausted, battered and bruised. MOTHERgroans and gasps at thesight of him....Then she hits his shoulder.

MOTHER
Why didn’t you wear the charm, like I told you?

SELIM
Ow - I did....

MOTHER
...then why are you like this?

SELIM
I went to sleep....

27 INT. SELIM’s BEDROOM, AMMAN, (FLASHBACK). NIGHT
SELIM asleep, the gold charm glistening in the moonlight against his chest....

SELIM (Voice-Over)
......with the charm around my neck and then something woke me...

The bedroom door and windows rattle as green, long misty fingers steam through the crackstowards SELIM, whohas sat up watching, paralysed with terror....

The wispy streams coalesce to form a green boney HAND which reaches out to grabSELIM’s head....

Suddenly the HAND pulls back, unable to get beyond the gold charm. The HAND then takesthe charm and gentlylifts it over SELIM’s head and places it carefully, respectfully on the side-dresser - andTHEN....
....the HAND takes SELIM’s head and relentlesly bangs it against the wall.

28 INT. SELIM’s HOME , AMMAN, (FLASHBACK).
MOTHER is seeing SELIM off to school at the front door.

SELIM
Get the Exorcist...please....Mother.

MOTHER pats him on the bottom and sends him out.

SELIM (Voice-Over)
She wouldn’t go to the Exorcist. She was convinced....

She turns and looks up the stairs....

29 INT. SELIM’s BEDROOM, AMMAN, (FLASHBACK). MORNING
MOTHER enters the bedroom and surveys the surroundings.....like a detective.

SELIM (Voice-Over)
.....she could solve the problem.....

Her eyes light up when she sees the poster of the Naked Madonna adjacent to the SacredKoran Text

SELIM (Voice-Over)
...and she did

She kisses the Parchment...

MOTHER
Ahah! Bad boy! Bad Blasphemous Boy.

...and is about to rip the Madonna poster down when she shakes her head and points at it.

29 INT. SELIM’s BEDROOM, AMMAN, (FLASHBACK). LATEAFTERNOON
SELIM goes to remove the Parchment from the wall, but MOTHER stops him and points atthe Naked Madonna.

SELIM (Voice-Over)
...When I got home from school, she made me take down the naked Madonna poster.

With sad regret, SELIM takes Madonna down....

31 INT. SELIM’s BEDROOM, AMMAN, (FLASHBACK). NIGHT
SELIM asleep with a smile on his face, with the sounds of Madonna singing sweetening hisdreams...

SELIM (Voice-Over)
That night I had pure, beautiful, undisturbed sleep

32 INT. JONATHAN’s OFFICE (PRESENT DAY). DUSK
SELIM and JONATHAN are sharing a joint..

JONATHAN
And no more hand-banging?

SELIM
That’s right. Obviously, I’d caused offence to something or someone by putting the freaky Holy parchment next to the nude Madonna poster....

JONATHAN
What became of the Parchment?

SELIM
Funny you should ask...

SELIM picks up his briefcase and takes the parchment out....

SELIM
....it’s just occurred to me to bless your Marital Home with it.

JONATHAN
Oh no.

SELIM
Oh yes.

JONATHAN
You Bugger!

JONATHAN grins as he takes it from SELIM and examines it in wonder.

33 EXT. OUTSIDE JONATHAN’s APARTMENT. DUSK
SELIM is helping JONATHAN get into his car, while SHIREEN climbs into the back seat.

When...
....Suddenly they all hear a clattering sound as something falls behind the back of the car...

JONATHAN and SELIM look at each other in bemusement when they see that the “666UFO” number plate has dropped to the ground.

Then there’s a clatter sound at the front of the car...

Everyone rushes round....to find that the front “666 UFO” plate has also dropped off...
