UFO patrolling the Aftermath of the 1991 Gulf War?

Jordanian Air Force pilots "toyed" with, by inquisitive UFO

INTRODUCTION
I have a brother who was a fighter pilot with the Jordanian air force, during the 1991 Gulf War. At that time the late King Hussein had sided with Saddam Hussein and was not prepared to allow Israeli planes to cross Jordanian airspace in any revenge attacks on Iraq....consequently, my brother was on red alert to attack Israel should their planes breach the Jordanian borders. As it happened Israel was persuaded by the Americans to show restraint and not rise to Saddam's Scud missile attacks. Had Israel aggressively entered the war, the Americans and British could kiss goodbye their Arab allies - the Syrians, Egyptians, Saudis etc. Luckily for my brother, Israel heeded America's plea not to launch a counter-attack. The Jordanian Air Force were vastly outnumbered and although would have put up a valiant fight, ultimately would have been "trashed" by the Israelis....And my brother would have been the first to die...and I would not have got the following UFO story told to him by his friend, a fellow pilot....
.........................Nabil Shaban.............

In February 1991 soon after the Gulf War, Captain Nart Alghass, a fighter pilot with the Royal Jordanian Airforce, formerly a UFO-sceptic, had a sighting of a UFO whilest flying a Mirage FI, on a mission in the south-east of Jordan near the Iraq/Saudi border.
He was flying one plane in tandem with another Mirage jet fighter when an "egg-shaped", silvery-white flying object came between the two jet planes and copied all the manueuvres. The jets were travelling at approx. 300 knots, at an altitude of 15 to 20 thousand feet. Whatever the pilots did with their planes - the UFO kept pace and remained in formation. The pilots in trying to shake off the unknown craft, swerved this way, that way, ducked and dived but to no avail.
Radar was asked if the object was recorded and it seems not. It was suggested that it was a weather balloon but the pilots who had visual contact with the UFO's behaviour, reported that it was not consistent with that of a weather balloon.
When the object seemed to have got "bored" with playing with them, it shot away at great speed - too fast for the planes to catch up. As the UFO accelerated away an orange-red glow erupted at it’s apparent rear.
......The Close Encounter seemed to last about 10 minutes.
.....report by Nabil Shaban (S.P.I.)
