As I sit and listen to the stereo
my mind drifts to and fro
Ain't it odd the way a song
can take you for a ride along
Memory Lane and the Street of Dreams
It brings back what you mean to me
If I had a wish, you would be here
sitting in that vacant chair
Not just living in my heart
or a photograph or smart remark
When I remember days gone by
I know we never said goodbye
So here's to you, my dear Friend
to memories and feelings without end
to diamonds that are rough outside
to never really knowing why
to knowledge, friendship, life and truth
But most of all, Here's To YOU
In memory of my friend, Mark Crose
