My Bidstrup

When we see excellent Bidstrup's cartoons we know nothing about artist... Why?
Herluf Bidstrup had been creating his masterpieces when he worked in Danish Communist newspaper "Land og Folk". Propaganda in the ex-USSR have used his works as a symbol of workers' fight against capitalism and imperialism. It's true, no doubt, but Bidsrup's cartoons are not the only political. Moreover - they're not political. I'm not a Communist, I hate Communism, but I like Bidstrup art. It's wonderful! Incredible! YOU MUST SEE! Look yourself! NOW!
I liked to see his cartoons when I was young, very young... And I returned to his art in various periods of my life - and got real portion of energy and life power. Bidstrup's work is the life as is...
And now I had enough time to create this site in honour of THE ARTIST - Herluf Bidstrup.
More then 400 caricatures and drawings! You'll visit this gallery again and again...And spend here so many hours...
I believe that you'll share my feelings of admire when you'll see THE REAL ART.
