My name really is Mikel, and my middle name is joseph, thus the name.

Not exactly a brainstorm on my part but it works so why mess with it!?

I live in Laurel, Md. I just recently moved to Maryland to start my life with my true love and soulmate Gwennnie.

I am 33, and I love writing, especially poetry. I love all kinda of music, well ...except for rap and country. Although I do like some romantic, upbeat country songs.

I am very open and very friendly, but awkwardly shy at first.

I really love meeting good, truthful people who aren't into playing games or anything of the sort.

I have many sides to my personality, I can change in a heartbeat. But mostly I am a loveable, somewhat insecure guy.

I freely admit to having my insecurities, no need to put up some macho front.

Like popeye said, "I yam what I yam!" So if you don't like me it's your loss because I am a very nice man and a dedicated and loyal friend.

It takes a great deal to push me away, some have done so but only after hurting me deeply.
