Astrology is the art of correlating time to the movement of the stars. Astrology has a simple premise: Life is affected by the rhythms and movements of the cosmos. Many different cultures have adopted some form of astrology, a way of labeling life based on the movements of the stars. They are based on patterns that were noticed about personalities, ideals and influences people who were born at similar times had.
In western Astrology, there are 12 major sun signs: Aries, Aquarius, Pisces, Libra, Leo, Virgo, Taurus, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Gemini, Capricorn and Cancer. The sun signs are related to the day and month you were born in. In Chinese Astrology, there are 12 Birth signs: Mouse, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Boar. These are related to the year you were born in.
