A large unique and highly attractive central cooking island connects the various functional walls of this attractive maple kitchen. The centred cooking area is not covered by a canopy or extraction device. A downdraft extractor does the job of clearing most of the smoke from the griller, while the aroma of a sumptuous grilled steak is allowed to waft through a well ventilated entertainment area.

The latest Gaggenau appliances were used here, and the ultra hi-tech design and functionality, makes this a stylised kitchen with the stainless steel accents set in black granite set off against warm solid wooden worktops a chefs dream!.

Open wicker baskets, ceramic preparation bowl , a silver plated mixer tap, and a worktop that runs into the window sill, makes for a spacious and accessible preparation area that is also a feature wall. A Gaggenau microwave and two eye level ovens are to the right of this wall, stacked in one customised tall unit from Poggenpohl. It is not a common occurrence to have this combination of ovens, but certainly a pleasing and functional effect was achieved.

Open shelves, wine rack, spindle doors give this wall a fantasy feature effect.
