A beautiful installation in Windhoek, on a hill overlooking the whole city to the west, Namibia. A unique and well planned U-shaped peninsula, defines the cooking and preparation area. The whole worktop and wall below is lit by low voltage halogen lights recessed below the wall units. The latest Gaggenau appliances were used here, and the ultra hi-tech design and functionality, makes this uniquely personal design an ultra modern progressive kitchen.

The peninsula cooking area is covered by a Gaggenau stainless steel island canopy. The central island cooking concept is retained while a breakfast bar overhang feature connects the hob island to an attractive preparation area.

The stainless steel appliances and chrome accessories are offset by diagonally tiled imported Italian handmade high-gloss white tiles. The granite is a dark green, almost black, adding a dramatic contrast to the other elements in the kitchen.

The "drainer" for the preparation bowl has been milled into the granite worktop using a c.n.c. milling process, with an underslung stainless steel preparation bowl mounted from below. This feature is both aesthetically pleasing as well as practical.
