South African art, while there may be many good artworks around, there are but a few contemporary pieces that capture the spirit of the region. Simple in execution yet extremely complex in the personal interpretation by the viewer, many of these works have a universal appeal and will one day be acknowledged as the works of the "masters" of the "African Renaissance". |
