My lonely valentine

Maverynthia

He stands there uncaring

oh!

bearing the weight of a lonely heart

that which is mine.

I see him lonely

oh so lonely

I wish to love this smart

a man with the looks, my valentine

He looks my way

no time of day

I cry inside my empty shell

hoping to break out of my heartless hell

His looks are fine

I wish him mine

Oh to break his sorrowful sheild

and see what he can yeild

I see the sun nearing

its so searing

my empty little shell

I can see him there

His form is changing

rearranging

and hear a tinkle of a bell

I just stop and stare.

Oh for him to be mine

to be my Valentine

I'd dance a dance of joy

oh for him to be mine

To be my Valentine

sweet as candy time

I'll treat him nice

not like sugar and spice

oh for him to look my way

and give me a time of day

we'll both be in each others arms

away from all harms

Me and my Valentine.
