POETRY RESOURCES AND OTHER POETICS FOR POETRY READERS AND POETS
THE POETRY INGLENOOK

Writing of poetry is an art. A poem should appeal to the eye, the ear and the imagination. A poem is essentially the crystallization of an image, a sound, a feeling or an experience.

EZINES

E-zines or magazines on the web are a wonderful source for finding ideas about all types of writing, including poetry. They can also be a good place for the beginning poet to submit poems for publication.

E-zines contain good sources for marketing.

Access world-wide sources from the comfort of your own computer site. However, it must be remembered that e-zine sites are constantly changing. A search engine is also a good place to start. If you have a home page, check out the neighbourhoods for poetry sites.

POETRY BIBLIOGRAPHY

These are some good books about poetry that I've come across.

POETRY SCAMS

While there are many legitimate poetry contests, there are many scams. If you are considering entering a poetry contest, check it out thoroughly and read all the rules and fine print.
