San Franciso was such a fun day. Eight of us went, and Jake was the only guy...haha. He's from the area, so he gave us the grand tour in his parents big van. It was a lot of fun. We went everywhere -- this particular picture was taken in China Town. Oh- here's a funny story about while we were in China town. Jake and Gina were on the curb where people are supposed to be, and the next thing you know, a car like drives up on the curb and hits Jake and Gina sending them into the street. Thankfully, the car stopped moving when it rammed into a light pole, so Jake and Gina weren't ran over or hurt. The driver actually tried to drive away from the scene, but he was so far up on the curb that his car wouldn't move. People started crowding around in curiosity, and the longer everything took, the more people showed up to watch the events. It took at least a hour before we could leave. The cops and firemen came, and Jake and Gina had to get in an ambulance for a "physical" to make sure they really were okay. It was sad to see how some of the witnesses used the situation by lying. A few people totally acted and complained of injuries when they weren't even involved with the hit. It amazes me how far people will go to get money. The little accident actually didn't slow our day down. We got to do everything else we wanted to that day, and the wreck actually created a really funny twist to the day once all was said and done. We all got China Town shirts that day, too, and wore them to chapel the following week. 1
