TERRY'S POEM
I THINK OF YOU THROUGH OUT THE DAY
WHAT YOU'D DO AND WHAT YOU'D SAY
WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG I LOOK FOR YOU
THEN I RELIEZE IT'S UP TO ME TO DO
THAT THIS JOURNEY ALONE I MUST MAKE
STUMBLING AND FALLING FROM DISSIONS I MAKE
I TALK TO YOU AS IF YOU CAN HEAR
THE CRIES OF MY DAILY FLUSTERATION AND FEAR
SOMETIMES ALONE I SIT AND CRY
KNOWING MY HEART SHALL SURLY DIE
WONDERING IF LOVE CAN SURVIVE SUCH AS THIS
WANTING HELD, CUDDLED, A SOFT LOVERS KISS
A GIRL OF DREAMS I'VE ALWAYS BEEN
NOW IT SEEMS I JUST WANT TO GIVE IN
I'M NOT MEANT TO BE LEFT ALONE
ONLY HOLDING YOU VIA THE PHONE
HOW I WISH THEY WOULD LET US BE
OPEN THE DOORS AND SET US FREE
DON'T THEY KNOW I CAN'T SURVIVE
WITHOUT MY TERRY I'M NOT ALIVE
YOUR NOT PERFECT I KNOW THIS BEST
BUT REALLY NO WORSE THEN THE REST
YOUR MINE AND THAT'S ALL I NEED TO KNOW
FOR BETTER OR WORSE, BECAUSE GOD SAID SO.
MY HEARTS STILL YOURS, NO OTHER CAN TOUCH
THE LITTLE GIRL INSIDE THAT LOVES YOU SO MUCH.
